What is PTE?

PTE( Pearson Test of English.) Academic is a computer-based academic English language test aimed at non-native English speakers wanting to study abroad. It tests Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.PTE Academic is a multi-level test, like IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC(Test of English for International Communication).

Why it is required.

  • Accepted for study applications by thousands of academic programs around the world (USA, New Zealand, Canada, UK, Australia).
  • PTE scores are approved by all Australian and New Zealand govt universities and for immigration purpose.


Score validity.

The PTE Academic score is valid for 2 years.

PTE is a three-hours long computer-based test.


Exam Eligibility.

There are no specific eligibility criteria related to an academic qualification. candidates need to be at least 16 years of age before they appear for the PTE 2019 Academic test.
